Global Business Mobility Visas
The Global Business Mobility visas introduce new immigration routes and replacing some of the legacy immigration programs. As the evolution of the immigration program changes, we will see a number of changes in those immigration routes.
This business visa route is there to simplify the immigration programs that both entrepreneurs, skilled workers and enterprises should apply under.
For the enterprises, it’s a change in the way in which the UK Government sees as part of the growth investment they intend to do and without enterprises being at the forefront, this cannot be achieved.
The introduction of the Global Business Mobility visa routes brings in 5 immigration programs that both entrepreneurs and enterprises that can apply for. It ensures that the UK can benefit from entrepreneurs to skill share to improve business competitiveness in the UK markets.

The immigration programs under the Global Business Mobility visa do require a certificate of sponsorship. This is not required on all immigration visa routes under this. You must check prior to lodging an immigration application.
Where this is required, an employer must provide the certificate of sponsorship which must be valid at the date of application. This is a virtual work permit document required for the purposes of the visa application.
If an enterprise does not hold a sponsor licence, it would not be able to issue the certificate of sponsorship. Where you need advice on applying and becoming a licenced employer, please find more details here.
